(Polyetheretherketone)Ketron® Peek 1000, previously referred to as Peek 450G, is produced from virgin polyetheretherketone resin and offers the highest elongation and toughness of all Peek grades.
Black* Peek 1000 is ideal for instrument components where aesthetics are important, as well as for seal components where ductility and inertness are important *subject to limited availability in black.
Peek rod and Peek sheet, in both natural and black, can be sterilised by all conventional sterilisation mehtods (steam, dry heat, ethylene oxide and gamma irradiation) - and the material composition complies complies with EU Directive 2002/72/EC (as amended) and FDA requirements for plastic materials and articles to come into contact with foodstuffs.
