Other Filled PTFE Grade
PTFE, because of the properties previously described, is used in many applications. Properties can be improved and/or modified by adding suitable fillers. The fillers most commonly used, in concentrations to suit application, are:- Glass fibre
- Carbon fibre
- Bronze
- Graphite
- Molybdenum disulphide (MoS2)
- Metal powders
- Ceramics
- Metal oxides
