High Density Polyethylene - also referred to as HDPE, PE300 or 300 grade polyethylene - has excellent impact strength, even at temperatures as low as -30ºC. Coupled with low coefficient of friction and ease of fabrication, High Density Polyethylene is therefore widely used in automotive, leisure and industrial applications and is particularly suitable for the fabrication of tanks, silos, hoppers etc.
High Density Polyethylene is also easily welded and great for machining. High Density Polyethylene has a maximum working temperature of +90ºC.
