Acrylic tube maintains the workability of acrylic sheet in a tube form. There are two different manufacturing methods used for making acrylic tube:

Cast Acrylic Tube

Manufactured by casting the acrylic into the required tube size - this is called Cast Acrylic Tube and gives the best optical finish available

Advantages of Cast Acrylic Tube

  • Can manufacture in large outside diameters (up to 650mm)
  • Manufactured to exact specifications to ensure exceptional quality

Extruded Acrylic Tube

Produced by extruding the acrylic into the required tube diameter - this is called Extruded Acrylic Tube and provides an economical alternative to cast acrylic where aesthetic finish is less crucial, but the outside diameter available is limited to a maximum of 300mm.

  • Available in small diameters from 5mm OD
  • Economical alternative to cast acrylic tube
